This was hardly "absolutely hilarious." Maybe if you are 10 years old and haven't ever heard a golf joke it might be fun to read. But no so much for me.

Actually bought by hitting one-click accidentally. Very very few novel jokes. Mostly the same tired old "dirty" jokes reworked with a gold theme. Not told particularly well.

Book 4 takes place primarily on an iced over planet that had me sitting in front of my heater to read.Being stranded after falling out of slipspace and with a broken ship, they are forced to sit and wait hoping Titan will find them. Jace and Abigail must find out about the message they received that mentioned the lost planet Earth. Not only because of the obvious, but they also don't want that transmission notifying any unwanted visitors. What a miserable place they have found themselves, nothing but ice and freezing snow storms. Can there possibly still be people living on a planet like this? True to the series, this is one fast paced, action packed, non stop book of awesome! I had come real celebratory moments reading this one, things I have been waiting for for a long time. But also true to form... it ended, leaving me wanting. I just can't get enough of this series!

Sometimes when you get to the fourth book of a series the story starts to get a little stale. This is most definitely not one of those books! Chaney knows how to keep stories fresh and each book in a series is decidedly different than all the others.The boneclaws, as pictures on the front cover, are so terrifying and intriguing. I often wonder how people can be creative enough time up with such unique concepts. This has been one of my favorite series of his so far. Jace is a genius character who is impossible not to love! He's irreverent, crazy, passionate, and best thing ever. When this series finally concludes I'm going to be so sad! Maybe a few novellas will come from it? Just for the super fans out there like me. Please?

I love this series but this book felt off to me. It puzzled me because it had good action. But the pacing in this addition felt disjointed. The story ended sort of abruptly since the development of story started coming together in second half but leaving questions unanswered. Raising further more unresolved issues but trying to propel the story forward. I think this book was pivotal in its story telling but could have used more character development or something like that fleshed out more.The great thing about this series is that you cannot wait for the next book. This book is the only one that fell short on expectation. Series deserves 5 stars but unsure of what this book should get. The inappropriate language in this book became a speeding bump in the story. Something between annoying and unnecessary to the story. Plus, needed some revision but managed to stay above average with plot criteria on engaging the reader to continue.

Chaney does it again and peels back more layers in the story. I am pretty sure that I read this one faster than the rest. He does a great job describing the planet and its inhabitants so you won't have a hard time picturing them in your mind.

I have read books 1-4 and really enjoyed this series so far. I'm ok forward to the next two books..😊

Fun fast paced read. Identified and sympathized with the characters. Would have given it a five but the assumption that earthers are the only advanced species in any sector of space is clearly fantasy.

This entire Renegade series is a must read for the avid science fiction fan!

Really starting to flesh out the characters and show the evolution of the main protagonist. I hope we see more evolution in Abigail as well. I know there is a backstory novel out that I have not read.

Great book unless construction technology is very very new to you. Even so, still a great book. Love the BIM introduction. As a GC and seasoned professional in the field; one small comment - CSI Master Format 2004 in the fourth chapter needs a tiny updating especially to include Division 00 - Procurement and Contracting Requirement. Will read it again in the coming month. Definitely a keep for reference. Brings new light to show how high up the chain the construction manager is. A great reminder - successful construction is a team sport that requires competent players.

Perfect book for those starting in the construction industry either as a field engineer or admin.
